While it may not be entirely obvious from the above charts, it is important to note that in both the English and German texts, the letter frequencies show a distinctly curved (approximately exponential) drop-off, whereas the BoW letter frequencies follow a nearly linear trend. This suggests that there is not likely to be a one-to-one mapping between BoW glyphs and the letters of either English or German.
